Bio
Tortor began following their creative dreams from a very early age... but due to dyslexia, autism and ADHD they have only recently felt like things have really begun to come together.
They have a BA (Hons) degree in Animation from the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham (2012) and have more recently graduated from the In Studio Stop Motion course at the Aardman Academy (2024) with their debut character film, Hot Mess.
Production of their next short character film Stumbling Blocks (2025) has just wrapped and they are now in the final stages of post production on that too.

All these films were objects based and more experimental in nature. I'd always wanted to make narrative, character based films, but back in undergrad I didn't realise quite how neurodiverse I was and have spent most of my life struggling to get these ideas out of my head and not knowing why.
