For this pitch I came up with the concept of everyday things degenerating due to smoking. I created two animations, one with a football and the other with a pepper.

Each frame I damaged the object more. The football was dirtied and gradually deflated and the pepper, I bought many and swapped them out for different shapes to give the illusion of collapse.

I filmed smoke against a green screen and then composited this into the finished animation.
